Your planned gift keeps on giving
Lifespan helps older adults and caregivers take on the challenges and opportunities that come with longer life. We offer more than 30 services as a regional nonprofit. Lifespan is a trusted source of unbiased information, guidance and advocacy. We also provide training and education for allied professionals in the community.
We’ve been donating to Acme for years so it just made sense to include them in our estate plan. We love the idea that it costs us nothing now to do so, and shows what we value.

Gifts in a will or trust
Donations in your will or trust are (by far) the most popular type of planned gift. Learn more, or get help starting your will (for free!).
Beneficiary designations
Gifting assets not covered by your will — like 401(k) or IRA accounts — may help your heirs avoid unwanted taxes, even if you’re below the estate tax threshold.
Popular tax-smart gifts
Many people are increasingly choosing to give non-cash assets, so they can have a bigger impact at less cost to them.
